Steps To Submitting Your Film

Follow the steps below to submit your film.

Submitting Your Film

  • We are seeking excellent and original moving image work, narrative, documentary, animation, experimental films.
  • We are looking for unique stories, in feature or short. All projects must be 30mins or less.
  • Complete the submission form. You must include the following materials: the film. the trailer and poster. All information must be submitted.
  • If you are submitting more than one entry, please complete a separate entry for each submission.
  • All personal contact information will remain confidential and not to be shared with any third parties.
  • All decisions regarding award winners are considered final and incontestable.

Requirements

  • By submitting your work to DFF, you grant us a nonexclusive license to use an excerpt of your submission of up to two minutes in length, for promotional purposes only, including but not limited to internet and television broadcast.
  • You are also encouraged to enclose a synopsis, production credits, past screening info, press clippings and any other information regarding your film.
  • The Entrant/s submitting the film must hold all legal rights for the submission, as well as all necessary clearances for public exhibition.
  • Film subtitles must be in English.
  • All films submitted must have been completed between September 2020 to date.
